University Days for the 2012-2013 academic year have concluded. Students who were unable to attend a University Days event and would like to visit campus may schedule a campus tour or contact a recruiter for more information. If you are interested in attending a University Days event in the future, please visit this website in mid to late summer for an announcement of 2013-2014 dates.
University Days
University Days offer prospective students information on topics such as admissions; majors and minors; academic support and programs; costs; financial aid, and scholarships; and on-campus living and dining.
Please join us and a group of outstanding high-school and transfer students like yourself for a daylong visit at The Bryant Conference Center on the campus of The University of Alabama.
Each University Days event is a day of information sharing designed to introduce you and your family to just about everything the University has to offer. The topics we will cover include the following:
- admissions
- our nine undergraduate colleges and schools
- majors and minors
- academic support
- costs and financial aid, including grants, loans, student employment, and payment plans
- scholarships
- on-campus living
- on-campus dining
- student organizations and activities
- career opportunities and services
University Days are excellent opportunities to tour the campus and talk to faculty, staff, and current students. You may discuss your interests and goals with academic advisors and faculty, or you may find out how to get involved in some of our more than 200 student organizations. Most important, you will see how Alabama is a place where your dreams can grow.
We look forward to meeting you!
